I got an email from Ann Taylor last week. In true J.Crew fashion it was informing me of AT's lead designers picks for this month. I really liked the cohesive nature of the picks (even if White House Black Market sort of has this concept covered):

Here are my black and white apparel picks:

1 - Poplin Button Skirt - Shade - $38.50
2 - Bella Plaid Cardigan - Delia's - $14.99 (Orig. $49.50)
3 - Layered Tiers Knit Top - Forever 21 - $19.80
4 - Apt. 9 Paytin Dress Heels - Kohl's - $19.99 (Orig. $49.99)
5 - Sheer Pindot Cardigan - Forever 21 - $15.80
6 - Clean Front Skinny Minnie Ankle Pants - Charlotte Russe - $24.50
7 - ELLE Ruffled Top - Kohl's - $17.99 (Orig. $30.00)
8 - Elysee Asymmetrical Hem Skirt - White House Black Market - $19.99 (Orig. $80.00)
What are your thoughts on pairing black and white?

ReplyDeleteI love black and white. IT is so crisp and classic.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving your blog. Just found you! I normally find my duds at the D.I., but I just might venture out thanks to some of your tips. :)
ReplyDeleteMy problem is I LOVE black and white. I need more color in my life! :) Black has always been my go to color because I am fair skinned with dark hair, so it just kind of works. (Plus, it's slimming, right?? :))
ReplyDeleteI love your picks! I just found you through your comment on Cardigan Empire. Crap. Another blog I have to read everyday. THANKS A LOT!
