The color and drape of this top are making me drool (not to mention that ridiculously low price).

Spied: Just the Way You Are Top

I spotted this top a few weeks ago, and I just can't get it out of my mind. I love the rich color and the elegant pleating. I can picture myself wearing this both now and later.

LC by Lauren Conrad at Kohl's

I found myself at Kohl's this last weekend, stalking a very specific Christmas gift request from my mother in law (which I happily found there). I couldn't help but peruse the LC for Lauren Conrad section.  I also couldn't help but try one of the tops on, and inevitably couldn't help but take it home with me. I was pretty impressed with the selection that seemed especially accommodating to a growing baby bump (and I think many would also help camouflage a postpartum body).

Here are my favorite finds:

1 - Tiered Tank - $27.99 (Orig. $40.00) {similar to the sold out Anthro Free Flow tank}
2 - Embellished Cardigan - $24.99 (Orig. $50.00)
3 - Crochet Banded-Bottom Top - $29.99 (Orig. $40.00)
4 - Embellished Cropped Cardigan - $24.99 (Orig. $50.00)
5 - Floral Banded-Bottom Top - $16.99 (Orig. $34.00) {I bought this in Grey Floral + am loving it}
6 - Floral Dolman Top - $24.99 (Orig. $34.00)

What do you think of the picks? Anything you are you would love to wear? Leave your thoughts below.

As a funny side note, I tried on the top I bought for the hubs when I got home. The moment I put it on he said "that is so Lauren Conrad", which totally made me laugh. Granted, he did suffer through a few episodes of the Hills with me once upon a time.

And the Winner is...

I had a great time hosting the giveaway from Legxicon last week. Thank you for all your comments, it was so fun! The winner is lucky number 9,

A big thank you to all of you for participating.

Christmas Wishlist

I have gathered a group of things I wouldn't mind finding under the tree this Christmas. You may notice the I am not asking for many things to wear, as I generally prefer to buy those things for myself.

Chunky Knit Marled Short Infinity Scarf - Charlotte Russe - $16.50
  • I think infinity scarves are genius, and this one seems particularly cozy.
Lungs | Florence + the Machine - Amazon - $8.98
  • If you have heard any bit of a Florence + the Machine song, you know how catchy and original they are. If you haven't, I suggest checking out Dog Days Are Over
Warm Vanilla Sugar Eau de Toilette - Bath & Body Works - $13.25 (Orig. $26.50)
  • I had a very difficult time transitioning from candy scented body sprays to perfume. I knew what I was wearing was a bit juvenile, but every perfume I tried smelled like an old woman to me. My husband bought me this scent last year, and it was just the thing.
Matched | Ally Condie - Amazon - $10.52
Mid-Century Rocker - Urban Outfitters - $288.00
  • I have been searching high and low for a good looking rocking chair, which turns out to be quite the feat. This is on the pricey side of things, but as we already have many other baby needs taken care of (both my husband and I being the youngest in our families + have inherited so many wonderful pieces of furniture and other baby supplies), we have decided this can be our one splurge. We are planning to help pay for it with Christmas gift money from my mom (thanks again, Mom!)
What are your Christmas must haves this year (realistic or not)? Leave your thoughts below.

Also, I wanted to share my favorite holiday song this year. It's a cover by Built for the Sea, and I can't stop humming it:

Spied: Merona Floral Cardigan

I spotted this floral cardigan at Target and it immediately reminded me of something:

Merona® Essential Cardigan Sweater - Yellow - $15.00 (Orig. $22.99)

This sweater was one of my favorite things at J.Crew back in Spring 2009:

It was originally $88. Old Navy had a similar sweater at the time, but the ON version's yellow was a bit too pastel for my taste.

What do you think of the target version? Is it something you would wear? Leave your thoughts below.

I was recently contacted by Legxicon, a hosiery company, asking me to review a few pairs of tights. I love patterned tights and was so excited to receive them. I ordered these three varieties:

I have had a chance to try out all three pairs and love them. I have gotten compliments on each pair! They have a wonderful texture and a soft, comfortable waist band.

Look for Less: Anthropologie Striped Open Cardigan

Rachel sent me this fantastic look-a-like a few weeks ago. She even remembered that I posted an inspired outfit including this striped cardigan last year.

Striped Drapey Cardigan - Anthropologie - $too much (sold out)
All That's Needed Cardigan - Modcloth - $29.99

There was actually a bit of a debate about the cardigan I posted in my inspired outfit. I am so pleased that Rachel found such a fantastic option (and at such a reasonable price too).
