Spied: Rose Lace Top

Sometimes I do something really dumb. I invent a piece of clothing in my head, and then I get frustrated that I can't find it in any store. I do this all. the. time. I was so delighted when I stumbled on this little number because just the other day I was thinking that I would love to have a loose fitting lace top to wear when I am postpartum this summer.

Rose Lace Top w/ Belt - Forever 21 - $17.80

I also really like that this top comes with the belt. Two for one.

Fab Stitch Skinny Jean - Forever 21 - $10.50
Slub Knit Cardigan - Forever 21 - $22.90
Mossimo Odell Ballet Flats {Bronze} - Target - $12.99

Shade Spring Sneak Peak

Shade posted this tweet yesterday:

It’s been a while, we missed you and we’re bringing back the basics (but this time we had a little more fun!).... http://fb.me/U1hsXfXT

The link is to their facebook page, which had these two images in an album called Shade Spring 2011.

I don't know about you, but I have missed Shade even more than I thought I would. I am so excited to be getting them back.

Look for Less: Kate Spade Bourgeois Bow Ring

I wanted to share this look for less even if it is bit holidayesque.

Kate Spade's Bourgeois Bow Ring - Kate Spade - $65 {sold out}
3, 2, 1 Gift Off Ring - Modcloth - $14.99

It's such a convincing look-a-like, it would be worth buying now to wear next holiday season.

Spied: Striped Knit Blazer

I got really excited when I saw this striped knit blazer. I love a knit blazer, and am excited to see this patterned option in a comfortable knit:

Striped Knit Blazer - Forever 21 - $22.90

I have seen pricier options around, and think I like this one just as well. What do you think? Is this something you would wear? Leave your thoughts below.

Pinterest

I recently joined Pinterest. It took me a few days, but I think I am getting the hang of it.
It's fantastic because it is so visually stimulating.

If you haven't checked it out yet, you should.

Friday Wishlist: BHLDN Elopement Pumps

You guys all heard about BHLDN (apparently pronounced "beholden"), Anthropologie's new wedding & event line, right? They have lots of yummy goodies, but let me tell you about my favorite things. The shoes, oh the shoes. There are so many, I could hardly pick one.

{1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9}

But if I had to, it would be these (today anyway):

The scallop detail is incredible, and I am head over heels for the color.

Spied: Striped One Piece Swimsuit

I know it's only February, but I spotted this sweet little number at Old Navy and couldn't resist posting it.

Striped Swimsuit - Old Navy - $29.50

I don't know about you, but I have been loving the one piece look for a few seasons and was getting frustrated that the only place I could find good looking options was J.Crew.

Meet Jem Apparel + Review

I am so excited to introduce you all to my newest sponsor. Jem Apparel is new online boutique that focuses on good quality, classic styles and low price points. The founder and owner, Jenny, has this to say about her company:
"If you're a woman who considers yourself young but not immature, fashionable but not a slave to the trends, and you're always on the hunt for the best deal that doesn't look like a bargain, then you've found not only your go-to shopping destination but a friend in me! I'm here to help you find exactly what you're looking for, recommend which jacket would look best with that skirt, and answer any other questions you may have."
Working with Jenny, has been a dream. She gave me wonderful advice on the pieces that would work best with my pregnant body, and even checked with me on the size I chose because she wanted to make sure it would fit correctly. Jenny’s friendly, approachable personality welcomes customers to ask her opinion about anything from style to sizing. She loves discussing fashion and the items she carries, so she’s happy to do it!

One of my favorite things about Jem Apparel is the fantastic packaging:

All orders come wrapped like a gift and have a flat rate $7 shipping fee. They also offer free returns and exchanges and a loyalty program to returning customers.

On to my review. Jenny suggested this M.Rena long cardi coat as a perfect fit for my pregnant body, and she was totally right.

{long cardi coat - c/o jem apparel
tee - down east basics - $3
belt - charlotte russe - free with pants
maternity jeggings - old navy - $20 | similar
floral peeptoes - kohls - $18}

This sweater is fantastic. It's a great off white color and the perfect weight for a crisp spring day. And I am especially excited that I will be able to wear it through the entire pregnancy.

PS - That's totally Jessica Serfaty from ANTM Cycle 14.

Nout let me know that my much beloved Old Navy dotted cardigan is on sale for just $17.50!

Friday Wishlist: Mustard Yellow Cardigan

I have been seriously craving a mustard color cardigan. I have been thinking about it, dreaming about it, and attempting to hunt one down for months. I was really happy when I found this option at Urban Outfitters because it's actually a somewhat reasonable price:

BDG Classic Cardigan - Urban Outfitters - $38.00

I think the fit, neckline, and buttons are all perfection.

Spied: Lightweight Printed Cardigan

I ogled this in the store a few days ago. The subtle pattern and incredibly springy color were making me drool. It also comes in grey, which I also love.

Spied: Birds of A Feather Top

I saw this top last night at Forever 21 and fell in love with it. I actually carried it around with me for at least a half an hour before I put it back with a sigh. I think you all should buy it and wear it so I can live vicariously through you, ok?

Birds of A Feather Top - Forever 21 - $15.80

I did end up buying these two dresses (that I will be wearing as tunics). But I definitely walked out a little sad that I don't have a waist to rock the above blouse.

Look for Less: Jeffery Campbell Miller Perforated Oxfords

I saw this look for less last week and thought I would share:

Jeffery Campbell Miller Oxford Beige Leather Flat - Jildor
Perforated Leatherette Oxfords - Forever 21 - $22.80

I can't decide if I would wear these, but they are a pretty good look for less. There is a good looking mid-priced option from Urban Outfitters too (which comes in brown, black and white). I think the Forever 21 is the most feminine option, possibly because they are basically pink.
