Friday Wishlist: Mustard Yellow Cardigan

I have been seriously craving a mustard color cardigan. I have been thinking about it, dreaming about it, and attempting to hunt one down for months. I was really happy when I found this option at Urban Outfitters because it's actually a somewhat reasonable price:

BDG Classic Cardigan - Urban Outfitters - $38.00

I think the fit, neckline, and buttons are all perfection.

What do you think? Is this something you would wear? What's your fashion dream this week? Leave your thoughts below.

Happy Weekend.

  1. 1. I'm a fellow SLC gal as well, hello! I would wear this, I found a few good options at Target for really cheap but they're shorter in the torso, I love this option!

  3. I love the buttons on this sweater. They're different from what you usually see.

  4. I like the shape and the buttons, too. But I'd say its a bit more tangerine than mustard.

  5. I found the most darling mustard (I have a crazy love for navy, kelly green and mustard) sweater very similar to this at Nordstom this year ... one sale for $29. They often have their Halogen brand cardigans on sale and they come in beautiful colors and they wash and wear really really well.

My fashion dream this week is to coordinate more outfits to wear with legging :) I am so tall, I only have 2 tops that are long enough. XO

  6. I love your blog! What I'm looking for right now-many things, lol=) but I am always looking for a structured cotton or cotton blend jacket. I am partial to double breasted or military jackets that I can find at a good price.

  7. Madeline- have you seen this cardi? It's more expensive than the UO one you posted but very cute! http://www.jcrew.com/browse/single_product_detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524441803748&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374302023899&srcCode=AFFI00001&siteId=Ee18uo7H7zg-9R3T0lL7D7upH7*pqefYxQ

  9. I have been DYING for a mustard yellow cardigan ever since I saw that at Urban Outfitters. I bought one from Target instead, but I wish I would have bought the UO version instead. The Target sweater looks and feels cheap, and it's shorter.

I sent this blog post to my friend, because while I've been dying for this sweater, she's been dying from hearing me talk about it!

  10. I've tried this one on a few times because I love the color, but it's actually not that great. First of all, the fabric is really, well, plastic-y and feels really low-quality. The cardigan itself is really short, even on my 5'2" frame, and the buttons are a little too big for the holes so they don't lay flat.

Just thought I'd give everyone a heads up.
