Inspired: Kate Spade {behind the curtain}

I was perusing the latest looks at Kate Spade and fell in love with this one. I love love love the graphic houndstooth print on the skirt.

{worth a whopping $1379}

Here is my budget version:

Worthington® Houndstooth Skirt - JCPenney - $14.40 (Orig. $36.00)
Beaded Button-Front Cardigan - Old Navy - $11.97 (Orig. $32.50)
Ruffle-Trim Tank - Old Navy - $14.50
Lacquered Petal Flower Studs - Forever 21 - $2.80
Little Black Bangle Set - Forever 21 - $7.80
Charles Albert Women's Chrissy Ballet Flat - Endless - $24.95
total: $76.42

I was disappointed that I couldn't find a better version of the skirt, but other than that, I think it's a pretty good match. What do you guys think of the look? Is it something you would wear? Leave your thoughts below.

  1. Super cute look! I love the tucked in shirt look. And all the colors.

  2. I love this look! Great budget version!

  3. That is a great look and I love that it includes flats.

  4. The skirt is very "Mondo" from the last season of Project Runway. Maybe he'll come out with a line and make one more affordable than the KS one. I love the large graphic houndstooth too!

  5. I love you looks for less. DO you think there will be any knockoffs of Kate Spade's gorgeous Janette dress? Here is a link to it:
