Last week, I stumbled on a fabulous little store, Charming Charlie. Ever heard of it? The stores house a massive collection of color coordinated, budget friendly accessories. The in store selection varies from the online offerings, but both have great options. I stumbled on this great option in store, but couldn't find it online.
As the weather heats up, I find myself wearing lightweight tees and statement necklaces almost every day.
Here are a few of my favorite statement necklaces from a variety of stores for under $20:
1 - Draped Chain Necklace - Forever 21 - $8.80
2 - Color Craze Green Stone Necklace - JCPenney - $12.00
3 - Fringed Teardrop Necklace - Forever 21 - $9.80
4 - a.n.a® Collar Necklace, Gold Tone Filigree - JCPenney - $16.00
5 - Latticed Bead Necklace - $13.59 (Orig. $39.95) [free shipping with code: WFH2987]
6 - Opaque Beaded Necklace - Forever 21 - $12.80
7 - Lacquered Bib Necklace - Forever 21 - $5.80
8 - Liz Claiborne Statement Necklace - JCPenney - $12.50
9 - Gullung Necklace - Aldo - $15.00
I don't know about you, but I am head over heels for #5 (which also comes in aqua). What's your favorite?

Ooooh pretty! I love #9 & #5!!! There's actually a Charming Charlie opening right by me. I'd never heard of it!!!
ReplyDeleteHey there - just found your blog via Pinterest and I'm so glad I did ... you are amazing at scouting out the best deals! I recently discovered Charming Charlie at one of the local malls here ... I had never heard of it, but it's become my go-to store for accessories. :)
ReplyDeleteWelcome! So glad you found me.
DeleteYeah I have 3 charming charlie's by me it is DANGEROUS!! I seriously can't go in there without spending money! I couldn't ever work there, I would end up paying them!
ReplyDeleteSo dangerous!
DeleteI saw that necklace at Coldwater Creek a couple of weeks ago. It is long. I think the online description says it's 32 inches (that would be like to your bellybutton). But is it very lovely IRL. And very well made. Just don't know if you could shorten it. BTW there is a matching bracelet in store that I almost got- so pretty.
ReplyDeleteLOVE your Charming Charlie's necklace! So jealous there is a store near you! Thanks for the great post!

Wow! That is long. I am not sure how easily it could be shortened either. Thanks for the heads up!
DeleteNumber 5 came in the mail for me this week and I had already planned to shorten it. I found 3 ways to do so. First I just tied knots in the rope in the back, which worked fine for temporary use, then I changed out the rope to a shorter chain (as suggested in the reviews for the necklace on the CC website) but in end what I liked best was to leave the rope and just take one side off completely, so its clasps at the edge of the beads in the front. I think this is a great solution for an otherwise awesome necklace and only required 5 minutes with some needle nose pliers!
DeleteWhat a smart idea! Thanks for sharing.
