Inspired: Kate Spade {number three}

Lately, I just can't get enough of Kate Spade. I love all of her spring looks, but this outfit is definitely one of my favs:

{worth $845}

Here is my budget version:

AB Studio Striped Sweaterdress - Kohls - $29.00 using the BOGO free offer (Orig. $59.00)
Fireball Multi Color Necklace - Wet Seal - $10.00
Lightweight 3/4-Sleeve Cardigan - Old Navy - $17.50 (Orig. $24.94)
True Love - Carnation Pin/Brooch - Marang Studios Etsy Shop - $10.00
Set Of Three Lacquered Hoop Earrings - Forever 21 - $1.50
total: $68.00

I would have loved to find a dress with the stipe on a bias, but feel pretty good about the simple sheath I did find.

What do you think of this look? Is it something you would wear? Leave your thoughts below.

  1. Wow, what a great job finding stuff that's practically identical for so much less! :)

  2. Target had a bais cut black and white striped dress. It is no longer on the website, but it could be on the clearance rack at your local store. It was really cute, but it seemed to go quick. I'm happy to know that it was inspired by kate spade. I love it even more now!

  4. I feel the exact same about Kade Spade. She can do NO wrong, except for how freaking expensive everything is! Your version is just as adorable. I LOVE!

  7. Why does Kate Spade have to be so awfully expensive? I'm in love with that dress on the bias.

    Great job finding a $70 version of that outfit! I'd totally rock it.

  11. The black and white striped dress from your friend at jem might also be a good choice. Different shape than Kate Spade, I but love it! http://www.jemapparel.com/Apparel/02-FWAYA-3086.html

    Your ring is a great choice!

  12. I love this outfit but horizontal stripes don't work for my large figure. Here are some other options with more diagonal stripes (plus: very good prices): http://tinyurl.com/4cwofu3
