It's that time again, chickadees. Shabby Apple is holding their second annual Dare to Design contest.
Ever thought you had a great idea for a fabulous dress? Now is your chance to show your skills. Last year, there were so many great options. Unfortunately, my favorite didn't win, but all that creativity was such a fun thing to be a part of.
So, what do you think? Are you going to compete?
Ooh, how fun! I had no idea they did something like this. I probably won't compete (although I can draw one hell of a stick figure, the rest my design skills are, um...lacking) but it'll be fun to check out the other submissions, mmhm.
ReplyDeleteHi Madeline! What a cool blog. I need to learn how to be more of a budget shopper (something I'm not hehe).
ReplyDeleteI was excited to see this contest but the prize didn't motivate me much. Making a pattern alone is a lot of work and my brain starts hurting already just to think of it. Plus sewing a sample and sketching...
Maybe if I had a lot of time in my hands I would do it, or money to pay for a pattern maker.
So glad you posted about this! I entered last year's contest, but my entry fell completely short of making the top 15. Oh well. I think I'm going to try again this year.
