Six Little Things

Elaine at Clothed Much tagged me for Six Little Things That Make Me Happy. Before I give you my 6 Little Things, I will show you 6 Little Things to make you happy {they are all cute and under $20}:

1 - Double Pocket Tulip Skirt - $14.99 (Orig. $36.50), Shade Clothing (Online this is only available in XL, but when I left the Gateway location had XS, L, XL left in stock.)
2 - Teal Peep Toe Flats - $19.50, Old Navy (Available in 4 colors, half sizes available online only)
3 - Beaded Flower Tee - $14.50 (Orig. $24.50), American Eagle (Notice the super cute beadwork representing the pollen.)
4 - Floral Vines Halter Cami - $19.95 (Orig. $24.50), American Eagle (I want this so badly, but it is no longer available in my size.)
5 - Geometiric Shift Dress - $14.99 (Orig. $38.50), Shade Clothing (I do not buy dresses often, but I did buy this, and I totally dig the Mad Men vibe of this one.)
6 - Floral Tank - $10, Old Navy (I cannot resist a floral tank. Period.) {Also, Old Navy is offering areas in their stores and online with things that are priced at just $5, $10, and $15; this was one of those things}

As a side note, I went belated birthday shopping with my Mom on Saturday and bought 1, 2, 5, 6. I am also hoping to recreate 3 with some fabric paint and beads... I have the supplies, I just have to get the motivation. So, you are getting a window into what I really buy with this post.

PS - Thanks for all the wonderful clothes, Mom.

    I can't believe there weren't more comments on your six things. I thought they were great though I also can't believe I didn't know about the cheesy dance movies.

    I've seen several (at the behest of my loving wife) and love discussing movies with you, and yet I've never really delved into dance movie discussions, funny.

    I'm a little surprised baby names didn't make it higher on the list. Got a kick out of the Historical adventure one, thinking about dad walking the avenues with his glasses moving from the top of his head back to his eyes and back as he looks in a book at pioneer architectural styles and at the old sheds, barns and houses that have stood for a long-y-long time.

    I love the recent posts - you do have a skill for pulling in color and texture and style - fun reading also. Nice work Madeline.

  4. In reply to the cheesy dance movies, generally our conversations start with what have you guys seen lately? My secret cheesy dance movie obsession is only fed late at night on cable or when Steve is out and about, he isn't so patient as you. haha.

    Thanks for reading, I always get a kick out of your perspective and comments!
