Must Have: Loft

I'm not sure when it happened, but I basically only want to buy pants at Loft now. Part of it is style, but the other part is that they carry petite styles in the store. I don't have time to be ordering pants online anymore and I am sick and tired of tailoring every single pair of pants I buy.

After deciding I needed some new work pants and riding out a month long spending fast, I swung by Loft and came home with these:

Essential Skinny Ankle Pants in Marisa Fit

A few more marisa fit pants I have my eye on: petalwork | rust pink | foulard

They fit perfectly. They are tailored, but not too tight, and they move like a dream. I bought a pair in navy but am seriously considering picking up another pair in black. They are currently $20 off regular price!

Must Have: Perfect Curvy Petite Skinny Jeans

I have been on the hunt for the perfect dark wash petite skinny jeans for an eternity. I don't think I have ever been able to just buy a pair that didn't need some sort of alteration. And then I found these:

Petite Curvy High Waist Skinny Jeans - $70 ($42 with the current 40% off promo)

I have worn them about 12 times in two weeks. They are so perfect,

I found a few other things that I'm loving at LOFT right now:

Blocked Merino Wool Jacket
Lace Sleeve Tee (on sale)
Roped Crystal Statement Necklace
Drapey Split Neck Blouse
Curvy High Waist Sailor Pencil Skirt

Forever 21 is really hit and miss when it comes to knee length skirts and dresses. Luckily they have a great selection right now and all of them are under $20!

I don't know about you but I think that mirrored floral skirt is the bee's knees.

Must Have: Camel

Camel is having a moment right now. It's been years since I have worn or wanted to wear camel but all the sudden I'm all heart eye emoji over it. It's warm, classic and chic. Here are my favorite finds under $50:

Must Have: Asos Midi Dresses {Under $50}

Nothing makes me feel quite as polished and put together as a dress and heels. I am always on the hunt for the perfect dress and I always find a great selection at ASOS. Here are my favorite finds all under $50:

Must Have: Anorak & Utility Jackets

This image popped up in my Instagram feed yesterday and I (like everyone else who commented, it seems) immediately thought, "I WANT THAT JACKET." Inspired, I spent a while looking around the Internet for anorak jackets. It wasn't hard to find several that I think are adorable - cute anorak and utility jackets are everywhere this fall. Here are some of my favorites, all under $50:

row one: Anorak Jacket, $21.69 || Snap-Zip Jacket, $49.99 || Canvas Utility Jacket, $27.96
row two: Anorak Windbreaker, $44.99 || Cotton Utility Jacket, $49 || Cotton Jacket, $49.95
row three: Hooded Utility Jacket, $32.80 || Quilted Anorak, $34.96 || Cotton Military Jacket, $15

Any that you would buy? And if you don't mind me asking, how much are you usually willing to spend on a jacket? Even though they're good investment pieces and styles are consistent from year to year, I personally have a hard time spending more than $40 or $50. Tell me I'm not alone.

Must Have: Old Navy Graphic Tees

I have been keeping my eye on the graphic tees from J.Crew since spring. I loved the clean text and french themes but I had a hard time ponying up $40+ to get my hands on one. I was really happy to see these at Old Navy.

If only Old Navy hadn't closed their store that was blocks from my house! I would have already walked over and snatched one of these babies up.

Must Have: Vibrant Prints

Geometrics and bright colors have been everywhere this year. Forever 21 has a great collection of bold prints right now and everything is under $30. Here are my favorite finds.

Must Have: Floppy Hats

I am so excited to get dressed for summer. After a few harsh summers in coastal Texas, I have realized a summer hat is an absolute must have. They are chic and keep the sun off your face - heaven knows I don't need another sun spot.

Here are a few floppy hats I am loving (under $25):

Must Have: Floral Dresses

If I had to pick a favorite, it would be #4. Or #1. Or #3 or #6. I kind of like them all.

This spring, I am head over heels for all things gauzy and embroidered. Here are a few of my favorite finds right now.

Must Have: Spring Dresses (+ Nursing Friendly)

This weekend's forecast shows temperatures in the 80s. I am over the moon. I thoroughly enjoyed the cooler weather and all the boots and layers that go with it. But now is the time for bare legs and tan arms. Dresses are where it's at when it comes to warm weather dressing. I saw this beautiful number and just had to share.

Aside from the beautiful print, I love that it is breastfeeding accessible. I have found quite a few great dresses for spring, and they are all nursing friendly (and under $50). You're welcome.

Spied: Asos Pencil Skirt in Stripe

Spring brings me all sorts of wardrobe tendencies. Floral and more floral, maxi dresses, and every pencil skirt I can get my hands on. Here's a pretty one I wanted to share.

Asos Pencil Skirt in Stripe | $29.35 (Orig. $52.68)

ASOS has quite a few knee length skirts around $40 right now.
Here are a few good ones:

High Waisted Pencil Skirt

Asos is offering an extra 20% off sale items right now with code XTRA20 and
they always offer free shipping and returns.

Must Have: One Piece Swimsuits {No. 2}

One of the things I miss most about living near the beach is having a good excuse for owning 10 swimsuits. Not having an excuse to buy a new swimsuit in no way keeps me from looking for one.

I posted some great one pieces a few weeks ago, and was excited to find a bunch more good ones. Here are (more of) my favorite swimsuits under $50:

I think #1 is my favorite, but I kind of love them all.

Must Have: Black and White Contrast Blouses

One of my favorite trends this spring has been the emergence of black and white contrast blouses. I am obsessed with blouses anyway because they are so forgiving of my post baby body, and I love the extra punch of the contrast.

Here are a few of my favorites (all under $40 - most under $30):

1 - Colorblocked Yoke Blouse
2 - Asymmetric Color Block White Blouse
3 - Colorblocked Crepe Blouse
4 - Half Zip Crepe Blouse
5 - Contrast Floral Lace Bib Blouse
6 - Color Block Raglan White and Black Blouse (incredibly similar to this J.Crew blouse)
7 - Color Block Zip-Up Tunic Top
8 - Natural White V-Neck Blouse
9 - Colorblocked Stripe Chiffon Blouse

I think my favorites are #2 & #8. What about you?

Must Have: French Tees

This spring I have seen a surge of french words and phrases on tees & sweaters. At first it sort of reminded of me of the notes my high school boyfriend who was proficient in french used to write me (a non-french reader, so I was left scratching my head). But now, I think they are quite charming.

Here are a few of my favorite options right now (including translations. Call me crazy but I like to know what my shirt says whether I speak the language or not.)

1. Linen c'est la vie tee  | $30 (Orig. $45) | translation: that's life
2. Pink knit sweater | $25 | translation: fabulous
3. Amour tee | $25 (Orig. $40) | translation: love
4. Soleil collector tee | $25 (Orig. $45) | translation: sunshine all year long
5. Très jolie sweater | $20 | translation: very pretty
6. Fine-knit Top | $13 | translation: I love the bad boys
7. Linen merci tee | $35 (Orig. $50) | translation: thank you
8. Jersey Top | $15 | translation: I don't care
9. Linen je t'aime tee | $45 | translation: I love you

What do think?
