Do you guys remember this image that Shade put out almost a year and a half ago? That red/orange pencil skirt {tuesday} has been haunting me since that time.
Last week, I stumbled on a similar skirt at Target and decided to recreate the outfit for under $100 {almost}.
Merona Suzie Skirt - Hot Orange - Target - $24.99
Jersey Blazer - Old Navy - $34.50 (also in Plus)
Pinstripe Woven Shirt - Forever 21 - $17.80
Stretch Ivory Stone Bracelet - Charlotte Russe - $10.50
Mossimo Odell Ballet Flats - Bronze - Target - $12.99
total: $100.78
What do you think of the outfit? Is is something you would wear? Leave your thoughts below.

It would also look great with those coral beads over there from F21 ---->
ReplyDeleteGreat look! Love the rest of the looks too. Great inspiration piece to remix with.
Insanely cute. With Kendi Everyday's Winter 30 for 30 starting up this week, this is a very appropriate post. Thanks for the inspiration!

ReplyDeleteWhat a great outfit! I own the anthro bluebook blouse in that shade of blue and think I'll substitute that instead.
ReplyDelete@christa - I do too! Depending on how handy you are with a needle, I think you could take out the hem and add an inch or too. (That's what I would do)
ReplyDeleteOoh what a fun skirt! I've finally decided I need a pencil skirt. Maybe I'm growing up. Ha.

I was just at Target and admired the dress in that print, but didn't notice the skirt. Now I want to go back and hunt it down! What a fun outfit.

ReplyDeleteI would absolutely wear that! I love the brightly colored skirt with the relatively basic top, and then the fun pops with the accessories. Great look!
