I saw this cardigan and loved the color. In my mind, this color is something only found at J.Crew.

What do you think? Is this a color you would wear? My personal belief is that with enough confidence and a little extra blush, anyone can pull it off. Leave your thoughts below.
Love this! I agree - in my mind, that color is a J Crew color too. They had a dress a long while back in this color that I just died over.
ReplyDeleteAlso... I hear that Old Navy has a $10 sweater sale going on this Saturday! I wonder if this beauty will be $10!....
Yup! I love this color. Most people can pull off yellow if they add some cheek color! :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if I would or not. I have dark hair and colors like this usually look good on me. Yet, I'm trying to stock up on basics first and then get trendy things. I feel like this color is something that will go in and out of style, and I would be more willing to buy a brown, tan, black. etc. one before this color.
ReplyDeleteThis is pretty, but I am not sure if I can pull something like this off. I think if I had it on, I'd look like a chunky pickle =\

I like this color more that I thought. Mainly because earlier today I saw a girl who had a top this color with cord pants either light gray or light tan, brown leather flats and brown belt. I LOVED her outfit and thought how I NEED to get something in this color. So the timing of your post is perfect :)
ReplyDeleteI love that color! I saw cords that color at ON too and wanted them bad! Too bad they weren't skinny
ReplyDeleteGorgeous. Perfect for fall. Plus, lots of other colors for those who don't prefer this one.
ReplyDeleteI have an H&M shirt in that color. When I bought it, I thought it would be terribly edgy and a bit hard to wear. In practice, I really love it, and it goes with a lot of things. I can pair it with an orange or a green and it loses the acid green tones it has on its own, and ends up looking like just a super yellow without being too twee and one dimensional if that makes sense.
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand, when I saw those cardigans in the store, I wasn't impressed with the quality. They're quite sheer in person.
I have a cardigan that color and I wear it. I never worry about whether a color looks good on me or not. I probably should, but if it makes me happy, I wear it.
ReplyDeleteI just bought this color cardi at Target last week for $19...their Merona cardi's remind me of JCrew jackie cardi's, not just the style and buttons but also the color...b/c its such an odd color for me, i didnt want to spend the JCrew price... well, I was shocked at how much it went with in my closet! I found SIX tops off the bat that it went with, inc a JCrew Liberty of London sunflower print for a few yrs back..

I didn't get this color, but got the melon color. That one reminds me of J Crew as well. Still waiting for it to arrive in the mail.
ReplyDeleteI love this color! I have a lace cardigan from Target that is very similar in color and I love it! I have never thought of it being a daring or bold color - I just wear it without any thought! I like to pair it with a long sleeve black and white stripe T shirt and skinny jeans! It's the perfect go-to outfit!
ReplyDeleteI love bright colors but I'm pretty sure that might be one of those colors that makes my normal pastiness turn consumptive.
ReplyDeleteI love the color, and I'm quite certain Old Navy is quite deliberate in their copying of J.Crew.
ReplyDeleteI went into crew one day and then immediately after into old navy and it was CRAZY how much of their inventory mirrored that of j.crew!
