Spied: Stormy Sea Necklace Look-a-Like

I posted on a similar statement necklace from F21 a few months ago. They decided to make this version a real dead ringer (in jade rather than black) for the Stormy Sea Necklace from Anthropologie in 2009.

Pear Shaped Collar Necklace - Forever 21 - $8.80

What do you think? Is this something you would wear?

Happy Shopping!

  1. yes, except that i saw it in the store and it hangs all funny! otherwise it is a dead ringer.

  2. yes! I saw the anthro version (I think) on Kendi a while back and I wanted it!!! I remember looking at F21 and seeing the non-jade ones and thinking "if only" because I do not need another black necklace.

I found a jade based statement necklace at Macy's that quieted my thirst, but it was definitely not 8.80.

  3. Yeah... I'd wear it... especially considering I just bought it and it came yesterday. Haha. I love it.

  4. That's so funny that I totally recognized it from Kendi's blog too :)

    I love it!

  5. REALLY?! Oh this is gorgeous and I would buy it in a heartbeat.
    Love your spied findS!

  6. I have the black version and I would definitely consider the mint. I like that the beads are silver and not gold toned as I am a silver person.

I wore my black version yesterday under a military type khaki jacket from Gap.

  7. I want this. I am going to their site.
You are bad influence ... :)

  8. I keep trying to figure out how to wear statement necklaces, but they always end up looking like my neck's going to break under their weight or they're just long enough to sneak under the neck of the clothes I'm wearing. How do I make them look good without looking like I'm a kid in my mom's jewelry?!

  9. Phoebe - you aren't alone in this problem. I actually did a style tips post on statement necklaces back in April. You can read it here.
