A few months ago, I posted a tutorial for the double twist gibson tuck.
The series of pictures could only explain so much about the mechanics of the hairstyle. So, I decided to make a short video tutorial of the slightly less complicated, but equally attractive, sister hairstyle - the single twist gibson tuck.
Click through to see the video.
Don't forget to check out the original gibson tuck tutorial.
PS - You can follow my hair inspiration board on pinterest here.
Thank you! This is really helpful to see someone who does this everyday explain. I just need to practice more and try with damper hair. thanks again :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome!! Thanks for the video. Probably going to be doing this TODAY!
ReplyDeleteMadeline I love this! But what about for longer hair? There's no way I can tuck my ponytail in like that and it'd look kinda odd to have the cute twisting on the sides and then a ponytail....any ideas?
ReplyDeleteMelissa,
DeleteGood point. Try this or this instead of the tuck.
Thanks for posting that! You make the process look clear and simple. I will definitely be trying this.
ReplyDeleteLove this, M! This morning I did a quasi-french braid thing like this but I like the look of the twists because my hair is so dark that you can't see the braid well.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I'm Mary's (Plautz) sister-in-law :)
Cute! I'm gonna try that.
