ReplyDeleteWhat you wrote, is perfectly how I think about this season of Motherhood and everything else that falls within our care. Picking up what's most important to do, and laying aside the lesser.
Focusing on saying yes to the best, and no to the good.
I needed to hear it though. Spoken to me, from someone else who gets it. And you were that for me tonight.
My husband is still at work, it's almost 8 pm, and I am home with twin baby boys. Tired, a bit overwhelmed with a messy kitchen, bills to pay and appointments to be made... But all can wait right now. I have not missed any deadlines and my sink can handle the dirty dishes. These little sons of mine need lots of snuggles today. And thats most important.
