Look who's back!
Shade has launched a small selection of basic tees and lounge wear (maternity items included) for the spring. I have it on good authority that they will be launching a full fall line in a few months. Here are a few of my favorite offerings:
Stripe Tab Tee - $26.50
Rolled Edge Slub Tee - $19.50
Maternity Stripe Band Hem Tee - $20.50
Did you notice that they are offering free shipping + returns? I heart free shipping. And if you enter SHADEFAN at checkout, you'll save 20%!
Are you excited to see Shade back? What are your favorite items? Leave your thoughts below.

I love Shade but I'm sorry their stuff is still way too expensive. Their little half-a-shirts are 20 bucks a piece for half of a shirt! I just can't justify spending that much and would rather wait until it's mightily on sale.
ReplyDeleteMy source affiliated with Shade was emphatic that the prices have been slightly adjusted but the quality is much better. There are other modest companies with cheaper basics, and often the quality is poor (meaning you have to buy several of the same item in a years time). So keep that in mind.
ReplyDeleteI am happy that they are back (and from what you say, making better quality clothes). I'm eying the chambray roll cuff shirt.
ReplyDeleteim not pregant but i really love the last tan stripped top! xoxo jcd :: cornflake dreams
ReplyDeleteThey also have a 20% off code on Facebook.
ReplyDeleteOh...and I ordered the stripe tab tee. I loved all the options they had for stripes, especially in their basics.
ReplyDeleteway overpriced! the quality better be WAY better than the old stuff to be so much. i wish they had some more cute options too. i'm a little disappointed.
ReplyDeleteHallelujah! Finally a basics company doing stripes!! I'm totally a fan of those striped tops & the tunics.
ReplyDeleteplaced an order already. i have NEVER found a better quality layering piece. i have had my shade stuff for over five years, and i love it.
ReplyDeletei am really tired of the complaints about prices. sure the speciality stuff might be higher, but for the wear every day until it WEARS out stuff it is just silly. some tips: 1) don't buy it then. 2) find the same quality somewhere else. 3) free shipping is HUGE plus the 2 for specials and 20% off make them not only afforadble, but REASONABLE.
I stocked up on cami's yesterday. SO GLAD THEY ARE BACK!! I am a little bummed I missed the %20 code, but hey, I am happy to support their business.
ReplyDeleteTheir layering cami's beat out down east and the rest of the competition HANDS DOWN.
Here Here, Heidi Jo! Well said.
ReplyDeleteYAY!! So excited they are back. Just might have to go order that maternity top:)
ReplyDeleteI still wear my black dolman tunic and it has been washed and worn a bajillion times and looks great. Most of my things from them lasted great, so I don't understand the supposedly improved quality- I always found it very good. Well...for whatever reason, anything grey from them got trashed after the first wash (seriously!). But anything else seemed well made to me. I think the prices are still good. I love stripes, and I'm glad they moved away from all fitted. Selection didn't thrill me too much, but it's pretty basic.
