DIY: Floral Cross Stitch Sweater
Ever since I made my heart cross stitch sweater I have been looking for another way to implement cross stitching into apparel. I just love the way this turned out.
DIY: Cross Stitch Heart Sweater
Today's DIY is one of my favorites so far. I had a hankering for a heart sweater like this J.Crew option but couldn't stomach paying for it.

DIY: Heart Project Round Up
With Valentine's Day approaching, I am feeling an extra pull toward hearts (I am loving hearts anyway, but V-Day is a great excuse!)
I have rounded up 9 of my very favorite easy heart themed DIY project tutorials.
1 - Sequin Heart Shirt via Say Yes to Hoboken
2 - Painted Heart Bag via V and Co.
3 - Felted Heart Sweater via Say Yes to Hoboken
4 - Suede Shoulder Heart Patches via A Subtle Revelry
5 - Cross Stitch Heart Sweater - Me
6 - Heart Print Jeans via My Little Secret
7 - Make Your Own Heart Sweater via A Beautiful Mess
8 - Felted Wool Heart Elbow Patch via Honestly WTF
9 - Lace Heart Cardigan via Sincerely Kinsey
Have you attempted any of these? I am totally fascinated by the felted projects (3 & 8).
This Week
I just couldn't love these two kids more.
Here are a few links to take you into the weekend:
I think I've finally found the perfect peplum top (on sale!)
This hair and makeup is to die for.
This cross stitch heart sweater looks vaguely familiar.
Loving these wine colored skinnies.
I adore this DIY buffalo plaid scarf.
This necklace is the prettiest.
I am listening to this new album
on repeat.
We'll be spending the weekend trying to get a handle on Christmas shopping.
Do you have any weekend plans?
Must Have: High Waist Denim

I have discovered something magical. High waisted pants are magic. Every single time I swap out a pair of low slung jeans for a high rise pair I feel like Sandra Dee at the end of Grease (aka amazing). No muffin top, no wondering if bending over is going to show more than I bargained for, and no pants that I can remove without undoing the zipper. (What is that? Whatever it is, I don't want it. If this makes me old then pass me something to cross stitch.)
Here are some of my favorite finds under $40 (most under $30):
1 - Black High Waisted Denim Legging | 2 - Grey Brooke High Waisted Jegging (on sale!)
3 - Street Denim Tube Pant (more than half off!) | 4 - Ripped High Waisted Denim Legging
5 - Skinny High Jeans | 6 - High Rise Skinny Jeans
I can personally vouch for #1, #4, & #7 because I own them and love them - like, try to convince all my friends to buy them, love them.
So am I crazy? Or are you loving high waist pants too?
